Description
Trybit (formerly CryptoCloud) is a cryptocurrency payment gateway for business. This plugin adds Trybit as a payment method to WooCommerce so that your customers can pay for orders with cryptocurrency on a secure hosted payment page, while your store receives the payment confirmation automatically.
How it works
- The customer chooses “Cryptocurrency (Trybit)” at checkout.
- The plugin creates an invoice through the Trybit API and redirects the customer to the Trybit payment page.
- The customer picks a coin and network and sends the payment.
- Trybit notifies your store (signed POSTBACK) and the plugin marks the order as paid. A background check via the API acts as a safety net if a notification is lost.

The plugin does not collect analytics and does not send any data to third parties other than Trybit.

Installation
- Sign up at app.trybit.com and create a project (“My projects” “Create new project” “On my website”, CMS: WooCommerce).
- Install the plugin from the WordPress plugin directory (Plugins Add New search for “Trybit”) or upload the ZIP, then activate it. WooCommerce 8.2 or newer must be active.
- Go to WooCommerce Settings Payments Trybit.
- Enter the API Key, Shop ID and Secret Key from your project settings (Integration and API section) and enable the method.
- Copy the URL for notifications, Success URL and Fail URL shown on the settings page into the matching fields of your Trybit project.
- Test the integration: new projects start in test mode, so you can place an order and confirm the invoice without payment from the “Payments” section of your Trybit account. See Integration testing.
- Request to leave test mode in your Trybit account to start accepting real payments.

Do I need a Trybit account?

Yes. The plugin creates invoices in your Trybit project and receives payment confirmations from it. Registration is free.

Which URL do I enter as “URL for notifications” in Trybit?

https://your-site.com/?wc-api=trybit — the exact address, together with the Success and Fail URLs, is displayed on the plugin settings page.

Does the plugin work with the block-based checkout?

Yes. Both the classic
[woocommerce_checkout]shortcode and the Cart & Checkout blocks are supported. -
The order stays “Pending payment” after the customer paid

Check that the notification URL in your Trybit project is correct and that your site is reachable from the internet (no basic auth, no firewall blocking Trybit). Even without notifications, the plugin checks unpaid invoices every 10 minutes through the API. You can also click “Check status” in the “Trybit payment” box on the order screen. Enable the debug log in the gateway settings to see details in WooCommerce Status Logs.

What happens if the customer pays only part of the invoice?

Trybit reports the invoice as partially paid. Depending on your settings the order is put on hold with a note, or only a note is added. Once the remaining amount is paid the order is marked as paid.

What happens if the customer does not pay?

Invoices expire after the configured lifetime (24 hours by default). The plugin can cancel the WooCommerce order automatically when the invoice expires.

Can I choose which coins are shown to the customer?

Yes, in the gateway settings (“Cryptocurrencies offered”). Leave the field empty to use all currencies enabled in your Trybit project.

Are refunds supported?

Cryptocurrency payments are irreversible, so refunds must be arranged manually with the customer. The plugin does not process refunds.

I used the old CryptoCloud plugin. What should I do?

Install this plugin, enter the keys from your Trybit project and deactivate the old plugin. The notification URL that the Trybit dashboard pre-fills for the WooCommerce module (
/?wc-api=wc_cryptocloud) keeps working, so no changes are needed in the project settings. While both plugins are active, the old one keeps handling notifications and this plugin shows a warning. -
Which checkout, currency and other plugins is it compatible with?

The gateway is a standard redirect gateway, so it works with checkout replacements such as Fluid Checkout, CheckoutWC, CartFlows and FunnelKit, with the WooCommerce Cart & Checkout blocks, and with page builders that render the classic checkout (Elementor, Divi). Multi-currency plugins (CURCY, WOOCS, WPML Multi-currency, Aelia) are supported: the invoice is created in the order currency; if the selected currency is not supported by Trybit the method is hidden. Sequential order number plugins are supported (orders are matched by invoice ID, the order number is only displayed in Trybit). The background status check uses Action Scheduler, so it also runs when WP-Cron is disabled. Payment notifications are POST requests to
/?wc-api=trybit; page caches ignore them, but make sure security plugins or a WAF (Wordfence, Cloudflare, ModSecurity) do not block POST requests from Trybit to this address.
