This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.

Description

Allows the user to remove the WordPress Admin Bar from their sites.

The admin bar can be removed entirely or left on for different class of users

So for example, you may want “admin” to see it but no-one else.

Operation is simple.

1 – Just go to the “Settings” tab and select “Goodbye bar”

2 – You will have a list of checkboxes, now select which users you want to
see the admin bar.

3 – Click “Goodbye Bar!”

Job done!

Installation

1 – Unzip into your /wp-content/plugins/ directory

2 – Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

3 – Go to “Settings” and select which users will see the Admin Bar

4 – Click “Goodbye Bar!”
